The above documents describe the battle plan for the invasion of Omaha Beach, Normandy, France in June 1944 pertinent to the engineer troops
involved. 
After the WW II was over in the ETO members of  the 146th ECB were scatered among other Units to be shipped back to the USA. A good portion of the Battalion was kept together under command of Officers who remained with the Unit. The document below describes the duties assigned to the Leaders of the returning packets of the 146th ECB when they arrived at the Disposition Center in Camp Shanks, N.Y.
