Courtesy of  Hank Kalinowsky:
It appears these pictures were taken in a rear rest aerea somewhere in France?

Hank Kalinowsky recalls having traveled  in a Box Car  at some point in the ETO Campaign.
If anyone can recall this event, we would appreciate whatever information you can furnish.

Does anyone recognise this activity? Can you ID the men?
The caption of the picture says:
146th Combat Engineers wire dynamite charges, which are placed in trees. When detonated trees fall
forming a road block.
Germany 28 December 1944.
Other records show the 146th ECB in Belgium on that date.  ???
